Do you charge for quotes? +
No. On-site walks and written quotes are free for any project worth scoping. For diagnostic visits where the work *is* finding the problem, that's billed hourly — but you'll know before I show up.
How fast can you come out? +
Service calls within Ouray County: usually same week. Emergencies (no power, smoke, sparking): same day if I can. New construction and remodels: scheduled 2–6 weeks out depending on the season.
Do you pull permits? +
Yes, every time it's required. Permit fees are itemized on the quote. We coordinate the rough and final inspections with City of Ouray or Ouray County as appropriate.
Do you work outside Ouray County? +
Yes, on a case-by-case basis — Montrose, Silverton, parts of San Miguel and Hinsdale Counties. Travel time gets added to the quote.
Can you show me your license and insurance? +
Yes — just ask. Master electrician license, $2M general liability, workers' comp. Certificate of insurance available before any job starts.
